Miquel Costa Editor was born with the purpose of making the language and culture of the Pitiusas Islands known.. For it, has published books of literature, popular culture, investigation, biographies and local tourist guides. In recognition of their work, the Institut d'Estudis Eivissencs granted the brand the Menció d'Honor Sant Jordi prize for the year 2000. Since its foundation, has been one of the great promoters of local culture through awards, contests and promotional events. Among the writers who have worked with his label are names as illustrious as Isidor Macabich, Marià Villangómez or Enric Fajarnés Cardona.
