Can the Windy City Library, in Ibiza, has declared Bernat Joan the month of February as writer of the month. Born in Eivissa in February 1960 He is a doctor in Catalan philology and professor of Catalan language and literature at the IES Santa Maria de Eivissa. Desde 1982 He was a professor at the Institute of Education Sciences of the Catalan Language recycling courses for teachers in the Balearic Islands. He was also co-founder of the MOviment de Defensa de la Terra (MDT) in Ibiza in 1984 and co-founder of the Platform per la llengua, MEP for ERC in the European Parliament.. Read More
