For the second year running sets the Foundation Poetry Contest Vilás and Ibiza Editions addressed to all persons registered in the Pitiusas submit their verses (forty to eighty) from 1 January TO THE END OF CONTAINMENT. READING CLUB WITH HARPER LEE

el martes, 7 January at 20:00 hours a new meeting of the Club of the reading Santa Eulària des Riu takes place. This time, with To Kill a Mockingbird, of a novel 1960 the American writer Harper Lee. The novel is inspired by the author's observations about his family and their neighbors, and in one incident near his town 1936, When I had 10 year old.

The new collection Farce Theater publisher Edicions Aïllades presented on Wednesday, 18 from December, a las 19:30 Mediterranean bookshop hours in Ibiza. This is a new proposal in print of this stamp ibicenco, with a vocation to output the texts of the playwrights of our islands.

Yeats ESCRITOR MONTH

Irish writer William Butler Yeats is the writer of December in the Municipal Library of Can Ventosa, in Ibiza. Yeats was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1923, as a double recognition: politician, because it was just when I run the Irish Free State, and literary, because the Nobel committee said explicitly that the writer was able to express the spirit of a nation.
