YOUNG ART 18. LITERARY CONTESTS THE INSTITUTE OF YOUTH BALEAR

The Balearic Institute of Youth (IB-Jove) performs the duties concerning coordination and promotion of activities on youth. El Young Cultural Program Art 18, promoted by the IB-Jove basic objectives promote free and effective participation of youth in the Balearic Islands in the development of culture and enhance their artistic creativity competitions are held so briefly as we present below, the contest Poetry and Prose Poetics Manel Marí, and event Short Story.

general Bases YOUNG ART 18

Both events are aimed at writers / as born or resident in the Balearic, of between 16 y 30 years. The call will be open until 13 de junio de 2018. In the case of poetry, the extent of the work will be minimal 400 verses and a maximum of 1.000 verses, in one or more poems. Poetic prose for an extension of a minimum set 70.000 and up to 100.000 characters. The extension of the story must be between 5.000 y 15.000 characters. The theme is free, It has to be original, unpublished and written in Catalan.

Awards

Poetic Prose and Poetry Contest Manel Marí: First prize 1.000 euros and publication of winning poems in a prestigious publisher of the Balearic Islands. The first edition will be a minimum of 300 copies.
Short Story Contest: With a first prize of 1.000 euros and two second prizes 500 euros. They will go other 2.000 euros to publish a book of stories of the winner. The first edition will be a minimum of 300 copies.
