II LITERARY COMPETITION OF CLASSICAL CULTURE
The II Joana Maria Pol i Fiol Classical Culture Literary Contest organized by the Library Committee of IES Santa Maria d'Eivissa aimed at secondary school students, Baccalaureate and training cycles of all secondary schools in Pitiusas.
The works that are presented must be original and unpublished. The theme is free although it must include, at least, some element, character or reference to the world and/or classical mythology. They can be written in any of the official languages of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands.
The stories must not exceed two DIN A4 double-sided pages, in space 1'5, in Arial font 12. The admission period ends on 19 the June the 2020 and the awards ceremony will be held during the month of November 2020, coinciding with the days of the XVI Classical Thought and Culture Course that are held annually in Can Ventosa.
The following prizes are established:
a first prize (150 euros), a second prize (100 euros) and a third prize (50 euros) for 1st and 2nd ESO students.
a first prize (150 euros), a second prize (100 euros) and a third prize (50 euros) for 3rd grade students, 4or of ESO and FPB I and FPB II.
a first prize (150 euros), a second prize (100 euros) i a third prize (50 euros) for high school students, BAS and Training Cycles.
Además, A book will be published with the winning and finalist works, edited by Isolated Editions, as was done in the last call.
