ISOLATED EDITIONS WILL BE IN CATALAN BOOK WEEK

Edicions Aïllades is among the publishers selected by the Institute of Balearic Studies (AT THE LONDON AND FRANKFURT FAIRS) to attend the 41st edition of the Catalan Book Week in Barcelona. This annual fair, that will take place at the Moll de la Fusta in the Catalan capital, will be held between the days 8 y 17 of September.

For the occasion, the IEB will reserve a booth in which it will host the promotional activities of the invited organizations and the institute itself. Likewise, will be the point of sale for the publications of all these institutions.

INSIDE OFFERS’ and 'sea crits’ will be presented during Book Week in Catalan.

Catalan Book Week defines itself as "the meeting place for readers.", a privileged space to show the richness and diversity of publishing in Catalan and its industrial power». The figures that the organization attributes to the edition of 2022 credit this description thanks to more than 50.000 visitors who came to the fair and the 652.800 euros that were invoiced in books.

Edicions Aïllades plans to present three titles to complement its presence in the IEB installation. These are the poems ‘Shouts sea‘, by Iolanda Bonet; the book of stories ‘Inside offers and other stories‘, by Ramon Mayol and the book-disc 'POEMilla (vol. i)’. The latest publication is still unpublished and it will be a poetry anthology written by Pitiusan authors together with the musical version of some of the compositions included by the musical project POEMilla.

The other publishers that the IEB has selected to participate in Catalan Book Week are: Espelma Editions, Lata de Sal, Menorcan Institute of Balearic Studies and Documenta. Of all these organizations, only Edicions Isollades will represent the Pitiüses.
