AT THE PALMA BOOK FAIR

East 2024 the Palma Book Fair, celebrates 42 years and takes place in the Passeig del Born del 31 from may to 9 of June. One more year our editorial, through Isolated Editions, is present at this important event.

This year's motto is "Fewer algorithms, more booksellers» (less algorithms, more booksellers). A vindication of the role of Bookseller when recommending books, people with many years of experience in their respective bookstores.

The opening of the fair has been unified into a single event that begins on 31 May at 18.00 hours and will be open until 9 June during 10.00 A 14.00 hours and 17.00 A 21.00 horas.

A large part of Palma's bookstores come together to offer countless activities related to reading. Total, more than 20 libraries and are programmed more than 40 activities: Presentaciones, signatures of authors and authors, workshops, round tables and children's activities.

EDICIONS AÏLLADES

For Saturday 1 de junio a las 19.00 hours the presentation of David Ventura's novel is scheduled 'Going out for a run, brush your teeth, Behave properly' which corresponds to the volume number 15 of the 'Anacréptica de Narrativa' collection that Edicions Aïllades has underway. For the author, It is important that fiction reflects the lives of ordinary people. The novel is "a portrait of winter Ibiza and the ordinary people who inhabit it.".

The presentation is by the editor Ramon Mayol.

The book has had a magnificent reception since its presentation at the Can Ventosa Municipal Library, in Ibiza and in the different days of Book Day on the island of Ibiza. Its visit has been scheduled in different reading clubs and with the official presentation in Palma it is expected that it will also capture the attention of the Mallorcan public..
