INTERVIEW WITH MARIA TERESA FERRER (2ª parte)
as we already announced, here is the second part of the interview with Maria Teresa Ferrer. After having detailed his cultural work, we will focus on getting to know the writer better.
INTERVIEW WITH JOSÉ M: A month ago our book was published With woman's letter, that compiles the most representative female writers of the Pitiusas. How do you feel about being included??
INTERVIEW WITH JOSÉ M: I am very grateful and I congratulate Edicions Aïllades and the Consell d'Eivissa. I hope that this is the beginning of other editions so that more women who contribute to our culture are added.. It was necessary to give them a voice and it seems to me that it should be a reference manual in the institutes and at the writing level.
P: Do you have an editorial project that can be unveiled??
R: I am working on my second collection of poems after The spirit of slumber (The end of Africa). It will go along the same line of combativeness and will deal with issues such as the pandemic, the war or the arrival of boats: all the circumstances we've been seeing.
P: It is noticeable that your poems have this spirit of cultural militancy
R: I want my poetry not to leave you indifferent and it has been difficult for me to find my style because I have always liked free verse. That means that my verses must have an important internal rhythm to be recited. There are readers who say that my language is too complicated, but it is because I include words from the dialect of Formentera, what is proper for me.
Analysts of all times have set out to define the human being based on its different facets, They are nuances for my poems and it is what gives them their very particular style and what separates them so much from those that are written in urban environments.. I think that each place creates its own style and that my poetry is so strong because Formentera is very strong..
P: Can you send us any congratulations for the 10 years of Isolated Editions?
R: congratulations and may we be together for many years.
his unwavering faith in God and the numerous trips that brought him into contact with diverse cultures and to settle in Santa Eulària
