'GERMANIA 500' IN THE ALCÚDIA AUDITORIUM

This Saturday 25 February the work 'Germania 500' will be held at the Alcúdia Auditorium, based on the historical event of the same name.

The work ‘Germania 500’

The Germani of Mallorca was a very important historical event. Nevertheless, Popular culture has not frequently taken it: Do not abound the non -rondallas songs on the subject. For that reason, ‘Germania 500’ is a perfect opportunity to deepen this part of Mallorcan history.

The play, of pedagogical character, But also very visual, It aims to publicize this event to today's society. The objective of the music of the young Mallorcan composer Antoni Mairata also is to make visible and spread, creator of the work. The intention is that the spectators are not indifferent to those explained and that a dialogue can be promoted.

'Germani 500' is a work created by Antoni Maira and performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the Balearic Islands. The technical file is completed by Maribel Servera (letter), marga lopez (scene), Bartomeu Mestre (revision), Rodo Gener (storyteller) y Marian Lush (singer). The work will take place at the Alcúdia Auditorium this Saturday 25 February at 20:00 h. Tickets are now available.
