THE INSTITUTE OF EVIDENCE STUDIES AWARDS THE SANT JORDI MENTION 2023

The Executive Committee of the Institute of Ibiza Studies (IEE) announced the past 27 of March the people and institutions that obtain the Mencions Sant Jordi 2023 in recognition of his cultural work.

The historian Fanny Tur receives the Menció d'Honor for her long career in the dissemination of Ibizan heritage. The IEE specifies: "As responsible for the Historical Archive of Ibiza and Formentera, from the Image and Sound Archive, of the newspaper library and municipal libraries, has done a commendable job of cataloging, documentation and dissemination of the funds it manages».

The theater company Pedro Cañestro succeeds Edicions Aïllades in the list of Mention for Cultural Production. The IEE points out "the great work that this amateur group has done to produce and stage three plays in a single year.", and with more than a dozen performances».

This association has been closely linked to the publisher, since they recently took the pieces to the stage ‘a series of activities to which readers are invited‘ y ‘STEPANAKERT, HEART OF POMEGRANATE‘, both of the farce collection theatrical. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 22 April at 19:30 hours at the Can Jeroni Culture Center in Sant Josep. Admission is free until capacity is reached..
