THE SANTA MARIA HIGH SCHOOL GIVES THE PRIZES OF THE IV LITERARY COMPETITION OF CLASSICAL CULTURE JOANA MARIA POL I FIOL

The IES Santa Maria hosted the awards ceremony for the IV Literary Contest of Classical Culture Joana Maria Pol i Fiol el pasado 23 of June. This contest of stories about some aspect of the Greco-Roman world is aimed at ESO students, baccalaureate and basic FP and was established in memory of Pol i Fiol, who was coordinator of the center's library. Maria Cardona, the current organizer of the library explained that this year they have participated 50 Stories. The event was attended by the writers and former teachers of the institute Bernat Joan and Milagros Pierna to remember Pol i Fiol.
