The Vilas Julián Ferrer Foundation and Editorial Ibicenca Ibiza editions (EDICIONS AÏLLADES) announce the IV SHORT NARRATIVE COMPETITION, for residents of Ibiza and Formentera, on issues related to the islands of Ibiza and Formentera.

BASES:

Prize awards:

1er Prize in Castilian: Edition e-book by Editions Ibiza, 1.000€ gross and diploma.

2º Prize in Castilian: Edition e-book by Editions Ibiza, 500€ gross and diploma.

1er Prize in Catalan: Edition e-book by Editions Ibiza, 1.000€ gross and diploma.

2º Prize in Catalan: Edition e-book by Editions Ibiza, 500€ gross and diploma.

BASES

They will be eligible for prizes all those stories of subjects related to the islands of Ibiza and Formentera, written in Spanish or Catalan to be processed through the info@fundacionjulianvilasferrer.org email with a copy to edicions@illes.cat Foundation, accompanied by the attached annex.

The extent of the manuscripts should be between 5 y 8 Din A4 pages and Arial, Times New Roman o Calibrí 12 points, text with line spacing at most 1,5 spaces.

The deadline for submission of works begins 1 February and ends 30 April 2018.

Once the original received will be given acknowledgment email.

the anonymity of the authors is guaranteed to jury deliberation. Only one work is supported by author.

Ibiza editions (EDICIONS AÏLLADES) He edited digitally award-winning works in the literary Platform www.illes.cat.

When making the selection, the jury will assess the originality and literary quality.

The jury is empowered to resolve any issues not covered by these rules. Award results will be announced at a public event to be held in Ibiza in Sa-House Seniors Residence on Thursday 17 de mayo de 2018 a las 18 horas. The authors of the prize-winning works must attend or delegate someone to collect the prize.

The original winners will become the property of Ibiza Editions (EDICIONS AÏLLADES), which reserves the right to publish also in print edition. Non-winning works will be destroyed. They will not be returned, particularly, none of the works presented.

Taking part in this award implies acceptance of their bases.
