BOOKS AND MODELS IN CAN VENTOSA

From the Municipal Library Can Ventosa (Ibiza), It has launched the exhibition: “You bring the models and makes library books“. It is a collaborative proposal with users who are asked to take some mounted model, and the library will expose a while accompanying a book.

Exposure consists of a total of nine models that will be exposed to the 30 de abril. These models are paired with a story, a novel or a guide which refers to the representation.

Models and works in the exhibition are as follows:

Tower Bridge London with a guide.

Buckingham Palace with the detective story “A crime Buckingham Palace” Anne Perry.

Christ Redeemer “Brazil. future parents” de Stefan Zweig.

The Titanic ship with the book “The Titanic: A Pictorial History”.

Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela “The Lost Angel” Javier Sierra.
Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with the work of Dan Brown “Inferno”.

Notre Dame Cathedral with the story “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”
The warplane SU-35 with DVD “Black Hawk” knocked down.
The Taj Mahal mausoleum in India with the historical novel “Taj” Andres Pascual.

Ibiza City Library has started a few months ago collaborative actions with its users, such as exhibition of objects and books related to the story of The Little Prince. The aim is to create a link and involvement by the user beyond the use of common services.
