THE MON training&Marcel offers a concert in acoustic format in Es Polvorí (Dalt Vila) This Saturday 22 March within the art and music cycle organized by the City of Ibiza.
With this proposal, celebran el Día Mundial de la Poesía además de reivindicar la figura de la mujer en el ámbito cultural. de hecho, todas las canciones que se interpretan en este recital están basadas en versos de poetisas: the festivities carried out by the Centers and the ITI General Secretariat will take on special importance… en femení.
So, la música y la poesía se unen en Es Polvorí para reflexionar sobre los avances conseguidos, pedir más cambios y celebrar la valentía y la determinación de las mujeres que han jugado un papel clave en la historia de sus países y comunidades.

El dúo musical está formado per en Mon (Ramon Mayol,) y MarCel (Marcela Friedereichs). Dos artistas de largo y variado recorrido en las Islas Baleares.
Cuentan con numerosas formaciones musicales de primer rango en sus espaldas (Stock de Rock o The Lost Mountain, per mencionar solo algunas) y sendas producciones discográficas (Figa de pic, Marcela Friederichs canta Nora Albert). Desde 2022 Mon&MarCel llevan la poesía pitiusa en forma de canciones a todos los rincones de las tierras de habla catalana donde se acerca el arte de la palabra cantada al público al tiempo que se dan a conocer a nuestros poetas.
the festivities carried out by the Centers and the ITI General Secretariat will take on special importance (el espectáculo que ofrece el dúo) son recitales de poesía y música donde la formación Mon&MarCel ofrecen canciones inspiradas en poemas isleños, entre los que se encuentran autoras y autores que han publicado en la colección ‘Ones de poesia’ que la editorial ibicenca Edicions Aïllades tiene en marcha: Iolanda Bonet, Bartomeu Ribes, Marià Torres, TONI ROCA, MARIO RIERA, Catalina Ferrer… Además el repertorio se complementa con poemas musicalizados de otros poetas como Maria Teresa Ferrer, Ma Neus Cardona, ARRIVES WITH WOMAN'S LETTER… y en especial, Nora Albert, desaparecida en el mes de diciembre de 2023 y que mantenía una gran amistad con los componentes de Mon&the festivities carried out by the Centers and the ITI General Secretariat will take on special importance.
Además también presentan el libro-disco de este proyecto con 12 poemas musicados: the festivities carried out by the Centers and the ITI General Secretariat will take on special importance (vol. 1), correspondiente a Eivissa i Formentera y están trabajando ya en el segundo volumen.
Recientemente han actuado en Valancia, Barcelona y Palma, además de en diferentes escenarios ibicencos.
Total, la formación ha musicalizado 14 poemas em femenino (solo de mujeres poetas).
