NIGHT OF FIRE AND WATER IN SES SALINES

The second edition of the International Poetry Nave takes place on Thursday, 23 of August, a las 21:00 horas. Where he will remember the anniversary of the death of Federico Garcia Lorca. This event, organized by the gallery owner and collector Lio Malca, entitled Night of fire and water. Takes over from the poetry meetings sponsored, for seven years, by painter and cultural manager Mario Arlati in the natural environment ses Salines.

With the backdrop of two video installations by New York artist Bill Viola, which they are exposed in the former salt warehouse until 30 of September. It is the second edition of the International Poetry Nave, Lio Malca event promoted by considering that Ibiza has incredible potential for the world of art. The purpose of the ship is to spread culture throughout the island and take a step further by establishing a dialogue with the community. Itinerary

The start of the itinerary focuses on the figure of García Lorca, Reference FIGURE these meetings. It will continue with poems of John of the Cross, violence C. Iribarren, Adrienne Rich, Jorge Luis Borges, Emily Dickinson, Alda Merini, Domenico Alvino y Maria Grazia Calandrone. After these tributes, poets read a selection of his own work.
