NEW READING CLUB

Library Cala de Bou begins the new year with the opening of a new activity: a Reading Club. Every last Thursday of the month all people who love books have an appointment at 18:30 horas. The first meeting takes place on Thursday, 30 from January.

Library, directed by Anna Labèrnia, It is located at the end of calle d'es Caló, at the City Council Social Services Center (Tel. 971 348630). With this reading club, It is intended to energize the center and encourage reading. The activity is free and everyone who wishes can participate, without any kind of appointment.

A peculiar reading club

This activity is coordinated by the writer and editor Ramon Mayol (Ibiza editions), that has programmed a series of actions aimed at promoting knowledge of local authors, as well as readings related to the island of Ibiza. A peculiarity that makes it different from other similar initiatives is the fact that Club members will be able to choose the format of the book: printed, digital, it is included, when it is possible, in the new LeOigo format (podcast). Thus, Anyone can participate in this Reading Club, even without knowing how to read.

Además, there will be authors who will comment on their texts, as well as experts who will tell us about the places on the island related to literary projects.
