PoesIlles - Ibiza editions

From the ILLES.cat Literary Platform, a proposal has been launched to make the poets of our islands known: PoesIlles, a recital and documentary video where the most prominent Pitius poets of the moment participate. Due to the confinement motivated by the Coronavirus, the recital is postponed and the video has been finalized, provisionally with the recordings that some of the poets have sent us.

Produccions Aïllades will organize the poetry recital as soon as the alarm situation allows, while the producer Eivisual makes the documentary video, under the direction of Ramon Mayol, the Roberto Pastor edition and the original music, composed for the occasion, by Edu mayol ('La Avutarda Musical') where each of the participants read or recite one of their poems and give us their particular vision of the relationship of our islands with poetry.

The participants in this first edition of PoesIlles are: Nora Albert, July Herranz, Bartomeu Ribes, Eva Tur, Jean Serra, Josep Marí, MAryan Riera, TONI ROCA, Maria Teresa Ferrer, CARLES FABREGAT, Iolanda Bonet, Pau Sarradell, Marià Torres.

With a vocation for continuity, the intention is to also perform poetry recitals in Mallorca and Menorca, as well as two video documentaries along the same lines.
