The materials collected in this publication are all the work of Vicent Tur Serra, of Can Jeroni des Racó (Formentera). It is a set of versified narrative structures created to be recited, by way of stories in verse. Although they cannot be included within the traditional sung genres due to the fact that they are not intended to be sung, they do have a close enough relationship with the songs and also with the estribots, This fact is explained by the relevance of Vicent “Jeroni” as a singer and cançoner during the second half of the 20th century.
