DORIS LESSING, WRITER OF THE MONTH

DORIS LESSING is the writer of the month of September in the Municipal Library of Can Ventosa (Ibiza). Lessing nation 1919 in Persia, Iran today, British parents, and he raised in Rhodesia, actual Zimbabwe. Desde 1937 He lived in England, where he died in 2013.

His best known novel is, definitely, the golden notebook, written in 1962, and considered one of the masterpieces of English literature for his ruthless analysis of political attitudes, the clichés and rites of traditional British life.
