INTERVIEW WITH JOSÉ M: How is a book from ten years ago, there are references to the present time. The poem '8'8′ is dedicated to the Fukushima catastrophe. Nevertheless, There are others that may continue to be valid, such as 'Oda a l'útil’ and 'In the suitcase'. Have you been surprised at what can still be applied?

Iolanda Bonet: The one in Fukushima is maintained because there are always earthquakes and tidal waves. The one from 'Inside the suitcase’ it arose because I worked many years with immigrants. ‘Oda a l’useless’ It comes because there was a time when it was said that young people did not want to do anything because they already had everything. I believe that this is no longer the case because its involvement in social movements is seen.

P: In this book of poems is the text 'Eulària', which will be interpreted by musical project POEMilla the day of the presentation. How did these verses come about??

IB: Eulària was a person who was beginning to have senile dementia and who was the mother of a friend. I had the opportunity to observe it and I saw that it had two or three worlds. I didn't know his daughter, I didn't know if I had eaten or not… I wanted to convey all this as an affectionate emotion for this person.

P: This year a digital version of ‘With woman's letter‘, in which you appear again. How do you value this initiative to compile the female literary voices of the Pitiusas??

IB: I would give it a ten. All things that are done for the first time deserve people who go further like Teresa Navarro and Ramon Mayol. All women included have been raised to the category that men have and we are no longer so invisible.
